He bit it!
He bit it! Literally and figuratively... Gabe was crawling, toy-in-hand, and when he hit the hardwood, he slipped and bit it. He bit his top lip just enough for a little blood. First blood and first "injury" for the rough and tumble boy. As he's very cautious, he doesn't really tumble much at all, so I think it was quite shocking to him. Of course, it was too cute, so photos were taken... enjoy...

so cute! lilla is always surprised when she gets hurt, and more shocked than hurt, but always looks at whereever she got hurt or whatever hurt her, which an expression like "How could it do that to me? How could that triangle bell hurt my foot so much? Why would it do that to me?"
