Back in March, the kiddos and I took a trip to visit Nana and Grandpa in St. Louis. While there, we visited Faust Park and The Butterfly House. Living there from age 6 to age 15, I couldn't believe that we had never been! It was amazing! There is a Butterfly Conservatory - an enclosed greenhouse of sorts, that you can walk through among thousands of butterflies. There are so many that you have to walk slowly in order to not run into them. The photos don't do it justice.
This video is a bit better of what it looks like:
It truly is a kind of magical experience. Butterflies hold a special place for my in-laws, so it was really neat to be there and think of them.
We went outside to the outdoor park and found these little benches - my sister-in-law has this exact one! Zoe and Gabe posed nicely for us. =)
