We had a pest control man come out to the house for a free assessment last week. While he was here, he found nothing (YAY!), but also gave me some good tips about how to keep our house termite-free, etc. One tip was to make sure all of the plant life was not touching the house. I have this lovely hydrangea plant on the side of the house that the former owners planted and my sweet next door neighbor nursed through summers where it was mildly neglected. It’s lovely now (thanks to her) and I was sad about trimming it back as it’s just starting to bloom. However, after I trimmed it, I decided to keep all of the blooms and put them in a vase. This is the finished product. Aren’t they lovely???
