In Charlotte, all of the dB children lived there. We all realized it as a uniquely special time. None of us grew up in the same town as extended family, so we really valued the overlapping years. What a treat for G and M to get to know their aunties, the siblings to be apart of each other's adult lives, and so neat for me to get to know my sisters-in-law.
Grandma and Grandpa d were in town on one of our last nights before the move. We all got together for dinner and started snapping photos. I'm so glad we did - I'm so happy to have photos of that special night as it marked the end of a true era.
