This quote is from a musician, Mike Doughty. I wrote it down in my journal in September and I keep looking back at it. I'd like to have a cup of coffee with Mike and hear the experiences that have lead him to this conclusion. I'd love to know your thoughts.
"It's tragic that extremists co-opt the notion of God, and that hipsters and artists reject spirituality out of hand. i don't have a fixed idea of God. But I feel that it's us - the messed-up, the half-crazy, the burning, the question - that need God, a lot more than the goody-two-shoes do."
